There were some pretty ridiculous offerings there. I don’t know if all were manga rather than anime (heck, there was a gay cowboy porn item that had a photocover to it, so it might not have just been an explicit trashy romance novel). Whether it was manga or anime is really besides the point. Only comic geeks (which I am one) could be bothered to correct such bits in a story like this.

Yes, that was Johanna’s point … the Consumerist called it anime, or animation, rather than manga, OEL or a comic book.

Of course, it helps if I include the word “manga” after OEL …
