Webcomics-o-rama

Seems like a lot of webcomic news has been flowing through my email box as of late, so here are a few things to check out on the web when you’re tired of me …

Ryan Cody, artist for Viper Comics’ Villains, is launching a new webcomic called Coral City Aeronauts in March. He’s already started a blog for the strip, where he shares artwork (see above) for a poster he’ll be selling at The Phoenix Cactus Comic-Con later this month.

Meanwhile, Dean Haspiel readies the next round of Billy Dogma with a prologue:

Our buddy Chris Arrant, BTW, spoke with Dean earlier this week over on the mothership. Dean’s also hosting a party next week in New York to celebrate the one-year anniversary of ACT-I-VATE.

Meanwhile, meanwhile (funny how that word’s getting a lot more use nowadays) Sam Costello’s started a new horror story, “Not Sleeping Well,” over at his Split Lip project.

And last but not least, our buddy Dean Trippe emailed us about a new webcomic collective he’s participating in, Lunchbox Funnies … and I so want a Butterfly lunchbox. Chris also has a piece about them up on the main site.
