One of my new-favorite blogs, Lines and Colors, spotlights the work of Hakjoon Kang, a background artist who has worked on such animated series as Teen Titans, The Batman, Men in Black, and Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot.
Kang’s blog is filled with interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits, gorgeous background paintings, pre-production drawings, early sketches and more. (If his name seems particularly familiar to Teen Titans viewers, it’s probably because it was used as a chant by Beast Boy in the second Control Freak episode.)
