Over at The Comics Journal, the sad news seems to be that Tom Spurgeon’s history of Fantagraphics book seems to be delayed. Fantagraphics’ Eric Reynolds:
It’s just very late. It’s not the [Harlan Ellison] suit that’s delaying it so much as Spurgeon is still writing it.
Spurgeon himself:
The book going to be about six times longer than the book I thought it would be, and I’ve been about 1/6th as able to grapple with a project like this as I would have liked to have been in the last 14 months.

Having enjoyed the Stan Lee book that Spurgeon co-wrote with Jordan Raphael a few years back, I’m willing to wait as long as he needs.
