He’s survived the destruction of Gold Key, Valiant and the entire prehistoric era, but Turok, Son of Stone and Dinosaur Hunter, is back:
In an interview on the majorspoilers Website Hellboy Animated producer Tad Stones, who heads the animation unit at Starz Media, talked about a new project, announcing: “I’m starting production of Turok, Son of Stone based on the early Gold Key comics.”
Stones has brought in a number of former Warner Bros. animators to work on the project, which will be a direct-to-DVD release, meaning that it will be, in Stones’ words, “easily as bloody as the video games.”

Sweet! I was wondering if Turok would ever have any sort of chance at a comeback since he seems to have been in rights limbo for quite a while. Surprised they’re going with the original take though.
