David, you're thinking of the PUBLISHING HOUSE kitchen sink which no longer exists. this is the independent magazine, kitchen sink. it's a nonprofit. we do have a budget but it's very small and relies almost entirely on our newsstand sales. when your distributor fucks you and dozens of other titles over and doesn't actually pay you for your newsstand sales it tends to cause a huge problem. this is where we're at. not trying to take a field trip. xx carla costa co-publisher kitchen sink (the magazine) thanks for the kind words, Graeme.

Maybe angry isnt the word. But it seems like you should um, budget for stuff mr. Kitchen Sink Guys. Are these books given for free? or like to help war orphans or something? I don't know. but it seems like they publish a lot of stuff- why dont they have the cash to print their own stuff- and need to raise money like a 10th grade field trip to the museum? you know… i read this and- well it sorta made me angry somehow.
