Geoff Johns spills some beans for Wizard about that last page of Justice Society of America #1:
That’s Dawnstar. You’ll see this [followed up on] very, very soon. All of these [scenes] take place in the first year, but this one is coming very soon. Obviously she mentions having to find Starman so he plays a major role in what’s coming up. We want to hit a couple of really high notes within the first 12 issues… I don’t want to get too much more in-depth, but yes, you will see Kingdom Come characters in Justice Society of America. You know at least one you’ll see [from this page]. There is a reason that Alex is so heavily involved later on in the year.
He’ll spill some more over on the mothership later today.

Twould be interesting to hear Mark Waid on this stuff…. If I recall he an Alex Ross had a falling out (that’s why Ross didn’t work on “The Kingdom”).

In the end though, its not Waid’s real call.
Kingdom Come was always created by Ross. Waid just accentated and improved a lot of stuff that Ross needed help with.
Not taking away his name or work brought to the table, but when it comes to KC, Ross is the one you go to.
But yeah, DC tried to overly cash in on KC with the Kingdom idea and without Ross behind or supporting it, it fell apart.
Heck that’s why Didio says Hypertime no longer exists.
