With two books out this week (and a third out before the end of the month, I think…? When is Iron Fist out again?), Matt Fraction is a busy man. But not so busy that he isn’t making time to make time:

February solicits are out, including PUNISHER: WAR JOURNAL #4. The cover… only begins to hint at the absurd madness that lies within. Special guest artist Mike Deodato Jr. steps up and reminds everybody how he became Mike Deodato Jr. in the first place, doing what is, for my money, some of the best work of his career… And yes. That does indeed look as though Dr. Doom is wearing a suit– and his cloak– and paying his respects in the pews, doesn’t it? WTF? OMG?!?

Anyone notice that in the preview for PWJ, The Punisher looks like he’s firing a rocket launcher directly towards Stilt Man’s Mean Bean Machine? That alone makes it worth $2.99.
