On his Bad Signal list this weekend, Warren Ellis talked about the no-longer-new-but-still-hot format he gave birth to with Fell, giving out its name:
The FELL-format books at Image are now called Image Slimline. I happened to read a proposal for another Image Slimline book last night — I’ve been hooking Image up with a few people — and I’m glad to say that not only does the format look like it’s here to stay, but that people are studying it in very inventive ways.
He also gave an update on Desolation Jones:
We’d talked about moving DESOLATION JONES to monthly, and you may have noticed that didn’t happen. It might in the future, but, right now, I’ve decided I like doing one JONES a year. The TPB thereby being an annual thing. That appeals to me.
