Something you have to read. Or at least pick up in the store today.

Before we go any further, I just want to say: Second last page of Wildcats #1? Possibly the best page of any superhero comic this year. Seriously.

Dear God, Optimus Prime punched out Pat Robertson on that page, didn’t he?

  2. Graeme McMillan Says:

Something much more German and unexpected.

  3. Jeremy Holstein Says:

Um, outside of the use of German I don’t get what’s so extraordinary. It’s a perfectly fine page, but not better than any other page in the issue.

Now the second to last page in the Authority? That took me by surprise.

  4. Dan Coyle Says:

I agree, that was Stock Wolverine Scene #248. The whole issue felt like Claremont hero worship, albeit with much better scripting. I agree with Jeremy that The Authority was far stronger.

Casanova and Ghost Rider, now they rocked the cock today.

  5. Graeme McMillan Says:

Apparently I’m the only person who finds the sudden overdramatic captioning (Grifter is confusion! Grifter is death! Grifter is confusion! Grifter is chaos! And death! And death! And death! I mean, what?) in German, no less, exceptionally hilarious.

    I’m so alone.

  6. Chris Hunter Says:

I haven’t picked up either issue yet. Why do you make me feel bad. You make me feeeeeeel so bad…
