The cast of Veronica Mars

Although The CW unceremoniously dumped Aquaman from its fall lineup, the fledgling network apparently is still interested in new superhero series.

TV.com has word that Veronica Mars executive producer Diane Ruggiero will create a one-hour superhero action/comedy for The CW. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s being described “Sex and the City meets Batman.

The untitled show features two women whose superpowers only work when they’re together — like the Wonder Twins, only different.
