Speaking of superheroes, NBC’s Heroes helped the network bounce back from season-low ratings for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip to win Monday night. More importantly, the fourth episode of Heroes was the highest-rated show in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
Who could’ve guessed a month ago that a superhero drama would be one of the certified hits of the fall TV season? Of course, that just means we’re likely to see a half-dozen imitators next fall.

Like one that’s been described as “Batman meets Sex & The City”?

Who would have guessed that Heroes would be the big hit while Sorkin’s Studio 60 just sinks lower and lower? NBC clearly mismatched their Monday night slot with the way Studio 60 is dropping.

STUDIO 60 is amazing. can’t believe it’s gotten the ratings it’s had so far. don’t know why they put it on monday night though…

Huzzah for Heroes. I can’t even begin to say how much I love this show.
Studio 60 isn’t bad either. Much better than CSI Miami. I do find it quite interesting though that before the new television season there were a lot of reviews (websites, newspapers, etc) that rated Heroes rather low and Studio 60 as one of the best.

Both Studio 60 and Heroes are very good shows. I’m glad that Heroes has found an audience. At first, I definately felt the show was slow, but with each episode it’s getting stronger and that’s all we can hope for in a story.
But can someone please explain to me why people watch David Caruso?

Studio 60 is the far superior show but it’s bleeding audience members because it’s almost TO smart for it’s own good. CSI: Miami attracts the lowest common denominator crowd looking to disconnect on a monday night. Perhaps television has degraded the culture too much.
Hoever I’m loving Heroes as well.

Well I for one am happy to see Heroes take the lead. I love that show, in fact the last episode was the best one yet. We all need heroes to look up to.

Studio 60 is my favorite new show of the season. It just has a crappy timeslot. My parents would love to watch the show… if they stayed up past 10:00.

Studio 60 would work much better in the Thursday time slot between The Office and ER.
With a little support, NBC could find themselves with another hit show.

I agree; move Studio 60 to Thursday!
I wonder how ER is even still on the air … it should have gone off into the sunset some time ago.

I agree, Heroes completely saved Monday Night. It gets weirder, there’s even a blog searching for people who have experiences akin to real super powers. Relax its a personal blog. So anyways, you should read this you might get a kick out of the stories. Or, you might have one of your own. You just never know. http://therealheroes.blogspot.com No, you are not going to believe this.

What an awesome lineup for Monday night!! Heroes is a great show-well written and well balanced. I also enjoy Studio 60 which I think is a sleeper hit show! Matthew Perry is doing great! Peace out.
