Pale Force strikes out on the web
Beginning Oct. 13, Conan O’Brien and Jim Gaffigan will star in a series of animated webisodes on NBC.com. Pale Force will feature the adventures of Gaffigan’s muscle-bound Pale Man and his scrawny sidekick Conan O’Brien, “fighting crime with the power of their paleness.”

Nolan defends Ledger
Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan defends the choice of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the upcoming sequel to his first Batflick:
“He’s just exactly the kind of energy I needed for the character,” Nolan (The Prestige) said in an interview about the Australian Brokeback Mountain star. “Everything about the risks that that performer is willing to take are the things I need for somebody to take on that iconic figure. It’s going to be a huge challenge for us to create it, and he’s exactly the guy you want to be in the trenches with.”
