Trailer trash
Trailers for Marvel Universe Online, Ultimate Alliance and Justice League Heroes are available at various places around the Web. There’s really nothing to see in the Marvel MMO one, but what with it only being announced a few weeks ago, that’s probably to be expected.
Justice League and Ultimate Alliance come out this month — Justice League on Oct. 17 and Ultimate Alliance on Oct. 24 — so I guess we’ll see the whole “Marvel vs. DC” thing play out on gaming consoles.
It’s like When Fangirls Attack, but for video games
If you’ve visited Lisa and Melissa’s other blog, When Fangirls Attack, then the content and style of Jade Reporting may seem familiar:
The Jade Reporting blog was founded in September of 2006 for the purpose of archiving any and all information that deals with gender and video games. Bad news, good news, just news… it doesn’t matter, we will archive it all.
S&M fun
Joystiq reports that the upcoming Sam & Max “episodic adventure” game from Telltale will cost $9 per episode or $35 for the entire six-episode season … unless you’re a Gametap customer, then the game is included in the $10 per month for their service.
Sounds like a better deal than “waiting for the trade” is to simply subscribe to everything Gametap offers, which is a whole heck of a lot.

I am a DC fan through-and-through, but the graphics for the DC game look terrible and the characters appear wooden, especially in comparison to the Marvel game. In other news, I did play the original “X-Men Legends” and it was simply a super-heroic, glorified edition of “Diablo”, which itself was a glorified version of “Gauntlet”. So, unless someone can sell me on “X-Men Legends II” or this “Marvel Legends” game, I ain’t buying.
