The mothership’s weekly 52 roundup welcomes new editor Michael Siglain and assistant editor Jann Jones. Highlights include
– Jann Jones’ alpaca responsibilities,
– the fact that Siglain edits both Jonah Hex and Scooby-Doo,
– the extensive access Newsarama has to the 52 scripts (or at least this week’s, all about Super-Chief),
– the interviewer’s willingness to spell out the word “ass,” juxtaposed with Siglain’s use of @$$, and
– yet another Seven Soldiers spoiler, coming up in issue #24.
I suppose my two questions would be:
1) Given the amount of engineering necessary to make this weekly beast run, I wonder at what point the big mechanical difficulties stop and the fine-tuning begins; and
2) about that 7S spoiler — since the big finish is supposed to ship October 25 (a week after the character appears in 52 #24, couldn’t the story set for #24 have been delayed just a couple of weeks?

‘cept, of course, Bulletteer appeared in 52 #1, so nothing happining in issue #24 is more or less of a spoiler than that.

also, seven soldiers supposedly ended about one week before infinite crisis.

Yeah I don’t think there’s a major question about the death in 7S. I just hope the comic is good.
