Whatever else you may think about this series, you've got to admit:

Iron Man has NEVER been as interesting as he is right now.

Really it makes Iron Man more acceptable as a character because at least there's something besides alcohol that makes him interesting. Reed on the other hand... good grief is his character messed up now. This is bad. Very bad. And that one line justification about obeying the law? Are you kidding me? I don't think Millar even read Waid's run on FF. Yeah it makes sense that a character who once invaded another country would be more concerned with utopian designs than his own family. Somebody outside of Marvel should've been allowed to read this and slap them upside their heads! The worst part is? I'm really starting to think that Cap's side loses.

Millar's Iron Man is actually old hat to fans of Priest's Enemy of the State II in Black Panther.

I like the scarier Iron man (and scary Thor), but I must concede that Reed seems out of character.

It's slash and burn story-telling. A cheap thrill and a fast buck, with no future.

I'm just about done with Marvel. I have never dropped so many books so fast, since the 90s.

It'll be like Hank Pym. People will think of Reed and Tony as villains.

See, I'm really in the minority here..I like what's happening and seem to be the only one that understands that Reed and Tony are on their own personal CRUSADE!!! When have you ever known someone who took up either a religious or political crusade and wasn't willing to give up everything in the belief that they're right?!?!? People do it all the time. Hell, GW looked like he might me an ok President and then he took on his Crusade on terror and look where it's got us. How did the cute little daddies boy become such a nutcase extremist??? Same way Reed and Tony have. They have an agenda and ANYONE who gets in the way will pay. Just my opinion which seems to differ from EVERYONE elses but I'm still enjoying it and will applaud Millar and his work...even if I'm the only one clapping. *stand and applauds*
