Comic Relief, Rory Root’s amazing store in Berkeley, is hosting Derek McCulloch and Shepherd Hendrix, the creators of new Image Comics graphic novel Stagger Lee on Saturday, September 30th, between 7 and 9pm.  Never heard of Stagger Lee? Luckily, the Library Journal has reviewed it to give you an idea of what to expect, as the creators noticed:

[W]e’ve been honoured with a starred review in the current issue of The Library Journal.  At least, I assume the star is an honour.  I didn’t see a footnote at the bottom saying “Avoid at All Costs.”  Ordinarily, I’d link to the review, but it’s subscriber only.  Seek it out on your own by all means.  In the meantime, here are a few pull quotes:
