The producers of Splinter originally contacted Rob Chiu or motion graphics firm The Ronin (http://www.theronin.co.uk/) to develop the credits.

They wanted to hire Chiu based on the stregth of his work on an animated short for Black Day For Freedom (http://blackdaytofreedom.org/issue1/trailer.asp).

The Splinter team later dropped Chiu citing lack of funds. Then the sequence they end up with, created by the Film&#039;s editor I believe, bears an uncanny resemblance to Chiu&#039;s work.

Hmmm. Can you say rip off?</description>
