I’ve lost track of how many of these I’ve posted, but what the hell … the latest Wonder Woman casting rumor has The O.C.’s Rachel Bilson in the role:
The brunette actress - best known for playing ditzy Summer Roberts in the hit teen series - will don the famous starred hot pants and wield her gold whip in the film.
Bilson has already proved her suitability for the iconic part, after she donned a Wonder Woman outfit for a sexy seduction scene in ‘The O.C.’. A host of Hollywood stars had been tipped for the role, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cameron Diaz and ‘Van Helsing’ actress Kate Beckinsale, who turned down the part saying she “did not want to embarrass her daughter” by wearing the revealing outfit.
The character was made famous by Lynda Carter in the classic 70s TV series. Producers Warner Bros. have so far refused to confirm reports Bilson has landed the role.
O.C. fans will remember, back in the days when the show was worth watching, that Summer and Anna went to war over the affection of comic fan Seth. While Anna made him a customized comic, Summer took a different approach:

she’s cute, and if the rumours of whedon writing a young wonder woman, she’d be good, although she’s about 6 inch too short. diana should be played by someone at least 5′10

Has she displayed strength? Athletic prowess? A memorable character? Perhaps a beauty that’s more handsome then pretty? Does she give off a warrior vibe?
No. She, “she donned a Wonder Woman outfit for a sexy seduction scene.”
Because the KEY part of Wonder Woman’s character, as we ALL know, is her power of sexy seduction.
