TVGuide.com chats with Charisma Carpenter about the upcoming season of Veronica Mars and her unrelenting interest in playing Wonder Woman:
I’m dying to kick butt as Wonder Woman. Itching to kick butt! In my last year of Angel, I was really pregnant and I couldn’t do any butt-kicking, so I would really like this opportunity to work with Joss and take it to a new level.
She’s a bit coy about an upcoming audition that sounds like it could be for the Wonder Woman role. At any rate, Carpenter returns for the third season of Veronica Mars, which premieres Sept. 22 on The CW.

She may be wishing she never posed naked for Playboy. Might cost her job.
I can imagine the uproar when the religious right finds out Wonder Woman has naughty parts under her costume.

Considering Wonder Woman is famous for wearing bondage gear I’m not sure posing in Playboy is going to hurt her that much.

I just can’t see Charisma, she will always be Cordelia to me. My vote goes to Eliza Dushku!

The only woman I can see playing Wonder Woman is Gina Torres, which would give DC editorial a collective heart attack right there.
