The Vallely Archives, a blog dedicated to the work of illustrator Henry Vallely, updates with the fourth installment of “Secret Origins of Batman.” As with previous entries, this one looks at the apparent influence Vallely had on Bob Kane, comparing a panel from 1939’s Detective Comics #27 with a spot illustration from 1938’s Gang Busters in Action.
This comparison isn’t quite as obvious as the others, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

The link for Part 2 should be http://henryvallely.blogspot.com/2006/06/secret-origins-of-batman-part-2.html
While some may not find this comparison as obvious, I think when viewed in conjunction with the others it is clear that Bob Kane (or whoever was ghosting for him) had an open copy of Gang Busters in Action as well as Junior G-Men and the Counterfeiters.
