Earlier this week Marvel went over their upcoming movie slate during a webcast for analysts. While many of the usual suspects, like Iron Man and Hulk 2, were on the list, one new addition that appeared was a live-action Avengers flick. X2/Last Action Hero writer Zak Penn, who is also working on the second Hulk film, is working on the script for Avengers.
In animation news, the presentation mentioned direct-to-DVD versions of the previously announced Iron Man and Dr. Strange, as well as one called “Teen Avengers.” Animated TV shows in the works include Fantastic Four, Wolverine & the X-Men, Iron Man and Spider-Man.
The full list of Marvel movies in the works include the following studio-financed films:
–Ghost Rider
–Spider-Man 3
–Fantastic Four 2
–Deathlok
–Gargoyle
–Magneto
–Namor
–Punisher 2
–Wolverine
… and the following self-financed films:

–Captain America
–(Are you sensing a pattern?)

–Thor
–Avengers
