WW Chicago, Day 3: Only the names will change

August 6th, 2006
Author JK Parkin

Things definitely slowed down today, the last day of Wizard World Chicago. Hot on the heels of San Diego, it doesn’t sound like much “new” news came out overall, although Marvel and DC did hold back a few tidbits for Chi-town that you can read about in our Day 1 and Day 2 coverage.

Kalinara and Ragnell, a.k.a our very own Lisa Fortuner, have reports on their respective blogs from the con. Kalinara talks about meeting several pros and the “When Fangirls Attack” shirts she and Lisa were wearing to the panels, while Lisa talks about picking up guys on the streets of Chicago. Way to go, Lisa, and happy belated birthday to Lisa’s sister.

And speaking of pick-ups, from the Wizard photo gallery:

Brian Wood woos the ladies with, apparently, his best The Shining/”redrum” impression, as former Newsarama/The Great Curve-ite Alex Segura looks on.
