		<description>I can&#039;t help but notice that the three announced adaptations (this, NEW FRONTIER, and DOOMSDAY) are all material that has been dealt with (in different forms) in previous DC animation. I&#039;m sure this SEEMED like a good idea commercially, but it&#039;s probably going to confuse- if not alienate- a lot of cartoon buffs unfamiliar with the comics (which would be the majority of them, actually).I wonder if there will be a backlash, ala THE BATMAN? (As you said, girls who only know Terra from the cartoon may not respond well to this version...)</description>

		<description>Great post.  TJC was a great read in the monthly format but I always felt lost something as a collected story.  It will be too hard to adapt to a 70 minflick, even for Marv.</description>
