Movies Online has the first look at the new poster for Paramount’s Iron Man movie, scheduled for a May 2008 release. The artwork looks like Adi Granov’s, but I don’t know for certain.

This is Granov’s artwork from the panel at Comic-Con and was specifically stated as being production work and not the final armor design.

Note the stylized AG right above prototype. That’s Adi’s signature. The fact that he’s doing concept artwork for this movie fills me with joy.

The Iron Man movie panel report is at http://www.newsarama.com/SDCC06/Marvel/films.html
Granov’s right about the circle, too. The triangle never worked for me.

Looks like he’s been sucking lemons. I hope they use a more “classic” face for the final design.

Nice art work, can’t wait until final design.

Dear Sir:
I think an Iron Man movie would be a great idea in Hollywood. The Police,Fire man, and Ambulance shows they could be replace. He has the power to fight crime. His super strength and stung beams makes him a one man army. He could release nitrogren gas out to put out fire in burning buildings. He could quickly take the sick to the hospital as flying quickly to the hospital. I think Tom Seleck should play as The Mandarin. Mandarin is his arch enemy. The question is who’s going to play as Hawkeye?
