Wired News looks at ’40s and ’50s comic covers

I’m particularly geeky when it comes to comic book covers, so this Wired News piece devoted to World War II and post-war cover art made me downright giddy. It’s not a treatise on the subject — it’s a gallery of 13 images, with a few lines of commentary from Ben Samuels — but it’s nice to see, nonetheless. Plus, it includes one of my favorite Captain Marvel Jr. covers. (Thanks, Rick.)
