Chris Arrant tells Four Stories

July 11th, 2006
Author JK Parkin

One of our buddies over at the main Newsarama site, Chris Arrant, has been conducting a series of interviews for the mothership titled Up & Coming, where he chats with–you guessed it–up and coming comic creators. It’s highly unlikely that Chris would ever interview himself, so it’s up to me to let you know about his upcoming anthology, Four Stories, which debuts in San Diego later this month.

Over on his website, Chris has been previewing pages from the anthology, which includes artwork from Joanna Estep, Jessica Hickman, Matt Bayne and Eric Adams:

Four Stories is what I like to call my summer comic anthology book. 4 self-contained short stories as comics that I’ve written, illustrated by four talented artists. Intended as both a portfolio of our work and a “satisfying chunk” of comics, Four Stories is like short pilot episodes to hopefully ongoing (comic) series (with the exception of Snowblind). The mini-comic will debut next week at San Diego Comic-Con (Find me for a copy). If you’re not going to be at the convention, email me with your address and we’ll see about getting you a copy.

Go check out his blog for more information.
