Continuity

If you’re in San Francisco this week and are into comics, body painting or just having a party, stop by Isotope Comics this Thursday night for what sounds like will be a wild time.

That’s when Isotope Comics will end their three-week Continuity art show with a closing reception from 8 p.m. to midnight, which will feature Continuity artist Tony Talbert painting comic panels on the body of a woman in the store’s window.

Isotope owner James Sime has been adding artwork to the exhibit in reverse order over the past three weeks, starting with the end of Continuity and working his way to the beginning. If you’ve read the story, it makes sense.

I took a few pictures there over the weekend and stole a few from the Isotope website:

That last picture is Tom Beland’s contribution to the world-famous Isotope Comic Rockstars Toilet Seat Museum, which features original comic artwork from a variety of artists and is one more reason to check out Isotope if you’re ever in town.
