In the latest issue of The Walking Dead, a fan addresses a printing error in The Walking Dead Volume 1 Hardcover. When questioned about this error at his Image messageboard, Robert Kirkman is more than happy to oblige:
“At this point anyone who has a deluxe Walking Dead Hardcover with errors would need to mail it to my P.O. Box printed in the issues and have me send them a replacement.
I think this more than likely happened to less than a dozen books. So it’s really not a widespread problem.
So if you have one, contact me.”
Always one to please the fans, Kirkman also addresses what’s holding up the Invincible Volume 2 Hardcover:
“The printer ordered the wrong enpapers and had to wait for NEW ones to come in.
Endpapers are that blank colored paper that is glued to the inside of the covers on hardcover books… just so you know.”
When it is released, it will collect up to issue 24 of the series.
Have you been missing his Comic Book Resources column “Buy My Books“? It’s just old fashioned work that’s holding it up:
“I’ve been focusing on putting the books out. I’m REALLY trying to make sure the Image stuff gets on time and STAYS on time.
So yeah, that means every Tuesday/Wednesday morning I think “Man, I should do a column.” But then six other things pop up that need to be done.
I’ll try to get back to it soon. Jonah (the dude that runs CBR) has been very kind by letting me slip by these last few months.”
