Kieron Gillen, writer of new Image comic Phonogram, is going “old school” if you will with the first issue, as he explains on the Phonogram blog:
“Phonogram heads off from Image next week, so we’re in final tweak mode. We decide that we /may/, if we shuffle the pages a bit, have room for a letters page. For a project like Phonogram, [Artist Jamie] McKelvie and I have terrible love for the letters page. We like discourse. Also, talking bollocks. So, we thought we’d see if we can put together a page over the weekend. As – well – why not?”
